Research Informatics Management Office maintains and manages TMIG-LAN, which serves for communication among personal computers and purpose-oriented workstations. Local area network system (TMIG-LAN) was renewed in April, 2018. TMIG-LAN is connected to the Science Information Network 6 (SINET6) providing e-mail and homepage service. Useful information of security and processing service for research, and the effective use of TMIG-LAN is provided also. We serve the sharing personal computers using statistical data processing software (SAS) and database of literature references such as PsycINFO and AGELINE. Finally, consultation and education for information of network security is performed to maintain the level of user's ability. We support the progress in geriatric medicine and health promotion of the elderly people with a keyword as "information".
